Freshmen Dorms

"Oh yeah, walk around formal in a cute dress with a box of dog biscuits. Make my date balance the treat on his nose when he does something right." Ashlee snorted, then tapping her fingers on the table.

"Hey! They film Gossip Girl around here, maybe I could go and seduce Chace Crawford. He'd be an amazing date." Ashlee smiled, plotting of ways she could causally bump into him.

"If worse comes to worse and he denies. But who are we kidding who denies this?" Ashlee pointed to herself, "I can always seduce him, and I'm sure he has cute friends we can always hook you up!"

Evelyn exchanged an amused glance with her disturbed-looking roommate. "Talking about the formal," she explained to Alexis. "Seeing as most of the guys we know around here are....well...tools. We're trying to figure out ways to make them behave and, you know, not ditch us, on formal night."

Alexis made a face. "Whatever, good luck with that." She said, grabbing her chopsticks and some food. "Douches will forever be in the Club named Douchery."

"Like I said there needs to be like some magic potion or spell that turns guys into gentlemen or something. Oh well too bad Harry Potter and Hogwarts aren't real eh?" Ashlee frowned scooping up a spoonful of rice.

Evelyn smirked at Alexis. "We're you telling me Rose grew up around this stuff? We should ask her to whip up a love potion that turns guys into romantic saps, huh?"

Nova padded out into the living room, a shiny necklace on his head as he paused and yipped up at Evelyn. She reached down and plucked it off his head absently, sparing it a glance. It was the one that had escaped her closet yesterday. Evelyn grinned and pulled it over her head, resting it against her neck and pulling her hair out over the chain. "Merci beaucoup, little guy." She would have ruffled his head but didn't want to have to go wash her hands again. "Nova needs to start an adorableness boot camp for all those douchebags. He'd teach 'em how to treat a lady right." She gave the puppy a fond smile and Nova paused sniffing Alexis's hand to yip at Evelyn.

"I dunno, I think Rosemary went out with some new friend or something to a movie." Alexis said, plucking a piece of food into her mouth and chewed as she thought before swallowing. "Surely there's something we can google about it, and do it ourselves."

Ashlee raised an eyebrow, "Wait I mean, I know there are people who are Wiccan and stuff,but do any of those spells and stuff like that work?" Ashlee wondered, she had always seen it in movies but those were movies.

"hey, we're desperate for dates. Besides, it'd be hilarious at least. Hang on, I'll get my laptop." Evelyn left her meal and walked into her room. She grabbed her laptop and brought it over to the table, logging in again. She went to Google and searched for a recipe. "What sort are we looking for, the "find your soulmate" type or the "make him love me" type?"

She glanced down at Nova and added, "Doggy, if this doesn't work, you're my date to that dance."

"Uhh, either one? I dunno, make him love me, something. I doubt it'll work." Alexis shrugged, messing with her food before going back to actually eating it.

Evelyn grinned. "Got one....but it needs a week between the time you drink it and your target drinks it."

She pursed her lips. "It's a Love Potion tea....wait, who are our targets?" she asked curiously. "I honestly doubt this works but, you know, it would be hilarious if it did do anything."

"A target? Like what we have to pick someone and say their name and then drink it or something? Like if I picked Brad Pitt, and he drank it, he'd fall in love with me." Ashlee asked, not quite sure how this whole thing was supposed to work.

"Um, I don't know. I don't think I have anyone to aim for." Alexis said, picking up another piece of sesame chicken with her chopsticks as she looked at Evelyn.

"Yeah..I doubt it's LOVE this thing makes you feel. Love can't be felt like that, if it even exists," Evelyn said to Ashlee. Infatuation she believed, "liking" someone was as far as she honestly thought romance went. There was no such thing as romantic LOVE, only platonic love for family and friends.

"So I guess it's just lustful adoration...infatuation, I guess?" She smirked. "Let's have Seth drink it for you, Alexis. THAT, I would pay to see."

"Um, no thanks." Alexis frowned, giving her a look. "I get to see him more everyday almost more then I'd like." She mumbled and stabbed a piece of chicken.

Ashlee laughed, "That would be really hilarious! Ev you should have Connor or someone like that drink it for you, since he really just loathes you." She thought of their constant bickering, "Hmm who would I want to fawn over me..."

"Ewww," Evelyn exclaimed, grossed-out. She shuddered. "Hm....actually, I'd do that IF Alexis were to get Seth to drink it." She smirked devilishly. "Hm....I dunno, Ash, who do you want? One of the twins?"

"I don't know! Maybe one of the twins or something like that. I'm not sure. What about you Ev? Who would you want to worship you?" Ashlee nudged Evelyn as she thought over choices.

"Not making Seth drink it." Alexis spoke up, going back to finishing up eating.

Evelyn shrugged. "No one, really," she said honestly.She sighed. "Tish is no fun. I say we just put the potion in a bottle, have each of us drink it and pass the bottle to the guys. Random, ya know?"

She glanced at her Facebook tab and forgot about her noodles momentarily, anger at James flaring up inside her instantly.

Alexis noticed the look on Evelyn face and reached over, smacking her hand against the lid and then slowly closing her laptop. "And if you get someone you don't want following you around?"

Evelyn frowned but was somewhat glad Alexis had forced her to look away. "Well, I'm used to hiding from Connor's perverted advances. How much worse can it get than a guy who only acknowledges the lower half of your body?"

Nova yipped furiously and Evelyn pushed away her box of noodles, leaning down to scoop him up onto her lap.

"That sounds like it would be more entertaining, that is if we can even get them to drink it." Ashlee added.

Alexis bit her tongue and closed the computer completely for the time being and just leaned back, listening.

Evelyn smirked across the table. "It's in alcohol, they'll never resist. Now, we just have to get our hands on a bottle of tequila or something. I don't really know where you get that here....could you get some form Connor?" she asked Alexis, taking out her phone when it buzzed in her pocket.

If worst came to worst, she'd just have to ask Jake. But that would be a little harder since Jake might wonder why she was suddenly drinking at home. Evelyn glanced down at the text and blinked, surprised. Not from someone she got messages from often. She rolled her eyes and replied after a moment when song lyrics came to her mind: I guess I'm being indifferent to you at full tilt. I DON'T CARE IF YOU LIKE ME.

Alexis shrugged. "Probably, yeah."
