Freshmen Dorms

Seth caught Alexis' words over the heads of the few people between them. "Yeah, we're gonna have fun!" he exclaimed, heading over and punching the elevator button. "Let's do this town, bitch!"

"We're going to - " Evelyn cut herself off. Why didn't she argue? She didn't really want Connor along pissing her off. But she did have that ring... She glanced at Alexis. "We take them costume hunting?"

Connor followed Seth and smacked him upside the head softly. "Dude- what up with the flamer attitude today?"

"Yes. And you have permission to do whatever you want to Connor, okay? We'll make him Shaggy and you can be a bitchy Daphne to him. And we need a monster costume for Seth and a Shaggy Costume for Connor."

Monster...

Evelyn shook off the wave of sickness in her stomach and assumed an amused look as she and Alexis reached the boys. "Morning, Connard," she said pleasantly. The fingers of her left hand twitched around the cross-ring.

Nova shuffled in her bag, poking his small nose out of the tiny opening. Seth's face soured when he saw the dog.

Alexis promptly shot a look at Seth. "Don't start. He's a puppy, Andreasis." Alexis said stiffly and waited for the elevator.

"Mornin'." Connor grunted and messed with his hair, in a simple low cut white shirt, slightly baggy jeans and his Nikes. He had a pair of dog-tags around his neck and his sunglasses propped up on his head. He stepped into the elevator behind them all once it was there and opened up.

Seth shrugged. "I'll leave the hassling to Luce then," he said gleefully. He punched G on the control panel.

"My God," Evelyn said to Connor out of the blue. "Who ran you through a food processor? I mean, what's with that hair?"

Alexis paused and looked at Evelyn, giving her a "are you okay" kinda look.

Connor eye'd Evelyn and reached up, running a finger through the spikes in his hair. "Um.. what?"

Evelyn shrugged. "Come on, his hair looks like it met an electric socket." She didn't know where this was coming form. Maybe picking a petty fight with Connard would lighten her somewhat glum mood.

Seth grinned. "I thought that whole rolled-out-of-bed-look was sexy?"

"Exactly." Connor mumbled to Seth and crossed his arms, waiting for the doors to open.

Evelyn shook her head. "Are you serious? It just shows me you were too lazy to give a damn."

Seth snickered and decided to leave them to their argument - well, one-sided argument. "Hey, hey Alexis?"

"Look- I'm not a girl who gives a damn about my hair." Connor sighed, pushing his sunglasses over his eyes.

Alexis' hand twitched and she glanced up at Seth. "What?"

Seth leaned over. "You know?"

Evelyn raised an eyebrow, amused. She was having fun with this. Who said she oculdn't instigate the argument for once? It had been Connor the last two times.

"So running a brush through your hair once a day is girly?" she asked. "Do you also bathe once a month?"

"I bathed this morning thanks." Connor snorted, rolling his eyes and glaring at the doors.

"...I know what?"

Seth paused dramatically. "I know what you did."

Evelyn shot Connor a studying glance. No witty retorts? No insults? It left one conclusion. "Is this some sort of male PMS or what?"

"...What?!" Connor choked on his words at first and shot her a glare. "Unlike you, I do not have to have fuckin' "PMS" to be grouchy. PMS would be a lot better if it just stood for "Permanent Man-Suckin'."

"...What the fuck are you on, Seth?" Alexis asked, with narrowed eyes.

Seth gave Alexis a Cheshire grin eerily like the one Lucifer had given Oriana. "And I know what you're going to do, babe."

Evelyn felt her lips quiver and she bit the inside of her cheek but failed to repress a giggle. Connor looked kind of like he wanted to bash her face in the elevator mirror.

"Permanent Man-Sucking?" she asked with an innocent smile. "Well, you do kind of suck, so yeah, it'd work. Actually, you suck, period."

"....You are such a fuckin' bitch!" Connor groaned loudly and let his head drop against the elevator doors.

Alexis closed up her fist, the same one wearing the Vain ring. "Excuse me?"

Evelyn grinned at Connor's distress. Schadenfreude, asshole.

Out loud she said, just as the elevator doors opened in front of Connor's face, "Careful there. That hollow skull of yours won't be able to take a headlong faceplant."


Seth wiggled his fingers at Alexis, an infuriating grin on his face, and shoved his way out of the elevator. "No worries. I'll keep your dirty secrets, Lexie."

Evelyn shot Alexis a questioning look.

Alexis growled and followed Seth quickly, punching his side with the ring and stormed for the door, starting to regret bringing the asshole.

Connor stumbled forward, catching himself with the wall and let out a breath, grumbling.

"Owww!" Seth's pained yelp earned him several stares. He rubbed his side and glanced at Alexis' hand as she went by. A heavy-looking metal ring gleamed on two fingers.

Seth smirked, amused despite himself. Evelyn shoved past him after the other girl and he realized the cross on her fingers was the same type of thing. What the hell were these two on?

Oh well, he reasoned, it'd make for an interesting trip. "You all right, Con?" he asked, grinning. "You just got owned by French Bitch, man," he added quietly. "What's wrong with you? Normally you'd whip anyone into shape." He paused. "Or, you know...not whip..."

"If I had a whip, Seth, that bitch of a woman would be hanging in the elevator by her neck by now." Connor said bluntly, following behind them sadly.

Alexis crossed her arms, after adjusting her bag and mumbling curses off to Seth though he couldn't hear.

Alexis drug herself into the dorm room with Evelyn as she let out a large sigh of exhaustion. She threw her bag into the couch and bent down to undo the straps of her sandal flats and threw them to the side as she flopped onto the couch tiredly.

Evelyn headed straight for her room and sprawled facedown on her bed, not bothering to kick off her boots. Nova, who had scuttled out from her bag where she'd set it down, wandered into the living room.

Evelyn rolled over and leaned up, unlacing her boots and tossing them across the room. She lay back down and glanced at the outfit that hung on the back of her door.

Something wasn't right with it. Evelyn had been meaning to adress this issue at the costume shop and she'd found a fix.

She sat up and pulled her bag over. After returning her Daphne costume, she'd bought a part of another costume. SHe picked up the black bustier and ran ehr fingers over its lace, shuddering mentally. The lace formed a T, across the chest and down past her navel to the hem of her top. The lace was partially see-through. Except for the in-built bra in the bustier that is. And the black paneling around the lacy T did help, she supposed. She flipped it over, examine the decent, but low-cut back. Too slutty?

Alexis' costume came to mind and she got up and pulled the door closed, ensuring the blinds were down before pulling off her two shirts and her jeans and sliding on the leather skirt. With extreme difficulty. She then held her breath and pulled on the bustier, wincing as it squished her ribs. She glanced down at herself. She could see her navel if she peered closely, but the embroidery in the lace made it hard to see her skin. Which was good. It was bordering vulgar already because the skirt came down about only four inches on her thighs. She put on the black six-inch heels she'd bought in Seattle and then wobbled crazily, hitting her elbow on the door.

She swore and walked out as slowly as she could into the living room. "Lex, is this better?"

Seth had turned the other way with Connor and he gave the boy a punch on the shoulder as they walked. "So, dude, how was the Fred experience?" He winked suggestively.

Alexis' jaw dropped a little as she stared at Evelyn and then started laughing. "Fu- Damn, Ev. You look like you just came outta playboy."She teased lightly with a grin and wink. "You look freaking hot."

"Ouch," Connor mumbled tiredly. "Actually- pretty fun." He grinned and ran his fingers through his hair. "I got to shoot Evelyn, and flirt with her AND piss her off all at the same time."

Evelyn flushed, feeling extremely exposed. She wrapped her arms around herself. ANd wobbled a bit in her high heels. "I'm probably gonna get there and not be able to take my coat off. Oh God. At least you can zip up your shirt. Then again," she grinned, "Mine is less indecent than yours if you keep that shirt unbuttoned. You can't see through this lace so easily. But you can when a shirt's unzipped." Something ocurred to her. "What color bra are you wearing?"

Seth shot Connor an amused grin. "I think she had more fun kicking your ass. She did it verbally all the way there and physically in the store. That double-team tennis racket move was sweet."
