Freshmen Dorms

"Aw damn it." Jake frowned, looking over Evelyn's bed to Nova's basket. "Lucky you. You've probably seen her naked more than I have."

Evelyn's cheeks burned redder and she grabbed a jacket off the back of her door and tossed it at Jake's head. "Keep talking, that'll remain that way."

Jake caught Evelyn's jacket and set down on her bed, he hung his head upside down off Evelyn's bed and looked at Nova. "How did I get stuck with the only girl who won't let me even see some side boob?"

Evelyn narrowed her eyes at Jake. Well, if that was what he wanted...

She walked over to him, dumping her clothes on the foot of her bed and leaning down, grabbed the hair at the top of his head that hung down.

She yanked it in one swift move upwards and let go. "Well, if it's bothering you so much, you're welcome to go find some desperate whore." She straightened up and grabbed her clothes, storming out of her room adn into the bathroom.

"OW!" Jake yelled, rubbing his head. She nearly ripped out his roots! "Nova, your mother is viscous in the morning." Jacob couldn't even appreciate the view because his head was nearly yanked off his neck.

Evelyn yanked on her [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and took an unnecessary amount of time blow-drying her hair. She decided to keep Jake waiting even longer by applying a slow-acting facial scrub.

Then she trimmed her nails and filed them.

Finally, she fluffed out her dry hair, combed it, and walked out of the bathroom, back into her room.

Jacob in his time waiting for her had gotten bored, and went rifling through Evelyn's things again. He had found a notebook of her's and was ripping out paper and folding them into shapes. He had even folded one into a little swan. Jacob had forgotten he could even do that.

So he pretended to make it fly, "Whosh! Whosh! Oh no watch out a big scary wall! Ahhh!" Jake imitated a plane crashing into Evelyn's wall crumpling the swan. "Oh its on fire ahhh!"

Evelyn stood in her doorway a moment and then asked, "You and origami? What's this world coming to?" She crossed over to her nightstand and picked up her phone, texting Ashlee.

Morning. When do u wanna head out?

Hey! Whenever you want. I'm in class until 1 so anytime after that! Ashlee sent back to Evelyn while she waited in the art building for her class to start.


"I have a creative side! Granted I forgot how to make these but anyway I figured I'd pop in here again to surprise you. Since you weren't here when I visited earlier this week." Jake said sitting up.

text me when u get out of class. Have to entertain an intruder in my room. XD Evelyn replied to Ashlee, looking up at Jake as she sat down on her bed. "Wait, you visited? When?"

Kk saw said intruders status. Have fun XD Ashlee giggled, and walked into her class putting her phone on silent.


"I came over on Wednesday, I forgot what time but you were gone. I was here for like an hour or so, all by my lonesome." Jake frowned.

She blinked, mentally tracking her day on Wednesday. "Um, I was at class in the morning but I went out for coffee with a friend after class. Weirdly enough, it was Georgiana's formal date," she added with a grin. "Definitely traumatized, poor guy. But that might be when you came by because I'm usually home by then. I'm sorry!" She scooted over to where he sat and leaned over, kissing his cheek.

"Hmm out with another guy. Bet I'm cuter." Jake replied. "I mean seriously, I'm great."

Evelyn rolled her eyes. "He's got an Aussie accent. Don't get ahead of yourself, Enrique," she informed him smugly.

"Exactly, Enrique. Nothing else compares. Hence I win." Jacob said stubbornly when his phone vibrated and he looked to see the photo Lola uploaded of him and Seth from one of their many nights out and he laughed.

"Check this out. Me and Seth." Jake showed Evelyn the picture. "Never worry about losing me to a girl. Its Seth you should worry about." Jacob chuckled.

Evelyn peered down at the picture and her eyes widened. "Oh no, I'm no competition before Seth's ultra-glowstick head and sweet charms! I could totally take on any girl but this is so much worse!" she exclaimed dramatically.

Jacob narrowed his eyes at Evelyn and poked her head. "Ha ha. But seriously we look good in this picture." Jake went to go like it. Just then his phone vibrated again it was his boss telling him to come to work and cover for Eric.

"Ughhhh!" Jake groaned, "I don't wanna go to work."

Evelyn decided to annoy Jake some more before he had to leave, so she widened her eyes and made her voice all breathy and awestruck. "Ooh, the hunky Eric? Say hi to him for me." She nudged Jake with an elbow.

"Hmmm its been awhile since I've used my knife, I think I'll take it to work and practice opening cans with it." Jake said smugly, narrowing his eyes at Evelyn.

Evelyn stopped looking smug and sat up. "Your what?"

"Yeah my knife. Its a real beauty too. Black, double sided and razor edged. Cut through cans like scissors cutting through paper, its practically illegal." Jacob said in a serious tone. Getting up to go to the window.

Evelyn's eyes followed him and she got up, kicking his shoes toward him as she followed him to the window. "You can't take that to work!" He was kidding, right?

Then again, Jake was crazy.

Jacob grabbed his shoes yanking them on. "Sure I can, it fits in my pocket. Its not like we have metal detectors at work. Man I can't wait to go!"

Evelyn smirked at him as she went to stand in front of the window, barring his way. "Well,, okay. Don't forget to say hi to Eric for me. Door's that way." She nodded at her dorm room door.

"Sure I'll say hi to him. Although it will be kind of hard for him to say hi back when I sprinkle him on top of cupcakes." Jake smirked picking up Evelyn and moving her to the side.
