Four Years Later...[James/Ash/Luke]

"I suppose..." Riched frowned some more. "Where is she right now? We're gonna be in Florida in a couple days." He lowered the cell's volume as two of the boys passed down the hallway. Luke and Bryan. Luke punched Bryan on the shoulder, and had his ear pulled in response. He kicked Bryan and they both vanished on down the hall. Richard grinned and turned back to his conversation.

"Well that's convenient" Mr. Daniel smiled, "My daughter goes to the University of Florida. She's studying fine-arts there. When do you guys perform?"

"This Saturday. We'll be there by Thursday night. What do you propose? How do they meet? Lucas is fairly stubborn when he wants to be, but the boy has a heart of gold."

"Sounds good. Tell the boy it's for the band. If he's as pure as you say he is, he won't mind one date. It's my daughter I need to convince. Shouldn't be THAT big of a problem. Me and her will come to your concert on Saturday."

"See, that's just it. If I tell him it's a date...hee'll vanish somewhere. Kid's sharp." Riched tapped his chin. "Hm...how about I tell him and...the rest of the guys., that a very well-to-do friend of mine wants to, um...celebrate their siccess? Then we can all have dinner. This way, we'll try and get them to talk to each other, you know?"

"Richard, my friend, if this works out. I'll be happy to contribute large sums for your concerts" Daniel spoke confidently.

Richard laughed. "Keep your dough, CHanel. The boys earn enough." He paused. "So...Friday night, at some restaurant? You'll have to fly out there as well..."

((I just wanted to put this because it's too cute))

"Alright then...I'll be there. Night before the concert. See you then. Goodbye"

"Do we have to?" Luke grumbled. Natasha snickered, walking over and running her fingers through his hair so it mussed up worse. He shook his head and shoved her hand off, grunting.

"Yes, Farrell, we bloody well do. This is a night of fun--" Richard began.

Luke snorted. "We're going to some swanky restaurant. How much fun can this be?"

"He's bringing his daughter along. She is something, if the last time I saw her was any indication," Richard went recklessly. Bryce and Darien looked over.

Bryce wolf-whistled. "Sweet!" Richard looked over for Luke's reaction to this, but the boy was busy straightening his hair.

"Let's go, boys!"

Luke straightened his black button down dress shirt and followed behind Richard, who seemed determined to have him near the front for some reason.

"Mister Chanel," Richard greeted the man, as the host ushered them in through the doors of the Marriott hotel.

"Richard, how nice it is to see you. It's been quite some time. I'd like you to meet me daughter, Tiffany." He replied and pointed at the blue-eyed brunette standing beside him.

"Hello, Mr. Richard. It's a pleasure to meet you." She said.

She looked at the crowd standing next to him and her eyes popped out.

Luke? She thought to herself.

he looked at the boy more closely, dirty blonde hair, same eyes.

"Luke, is that you!?" she blurted out.

Luke's jaw dropped as everyone turned to stare at him, including Tiffany's dad, who obviously recognized him from his teenage years.

"Ti...Tiffany...oh, wow...um..." He swallowed, runnning his fingers through his hair. "I, er...wasn't expecting this, but uh, hey..."

He hadn't seen her in aout a year now. After Ashlee's failed engagement, they'd all scattered again. Tiffany looked as poised and beautiful as she always did. Natasha was eyeing her disdainfully.

"You know her, Lucas?" Richard Davis was asking. Luke shook himself out of his dazed stare.

"Highschool friend," he mumbled, looking away. Richard frowned but then led them all in to their table. Somehow, Luke found himself seated next to Tiffany. His breathing quickened.

"So...how have you been, Ti?" he asked, awfully aware of the gazes trained their way.

Great...how did I forget she goes to school here?

"I've been okay. Just busy with my last year of College and all. I'm doing Fine Arts. How are you and your band doing?" She asked politely smiling at the rest of the people.

Luke looked as handsome as he was in high-school, only somewhat taller and much more manlier. She could've sworn her heart beat had quickened because of the excitement.

"It's so nice to see you again,"

She hugged him before he could reply.

Richard gave Daniel a smug grin, and then turned to the waiter.

Luke froze adn recovered swiftly. What are you doing? She has a damn boyfriend now!

"We're...okay," he replied, sending her a somewhat reserved grin so his dimple flashed briefly.

"How...how's the guy you were with?" he asked, nonchalantly, lowering his voice so everyone would stop listening in.

Tiffany sighed and gave a faint smile.

"We broke up, he got drunk one night and well...things got ugly." She replied, "So now I'm single again. Like old times eh?"

Luke gaped. "He...what the...wow, you sure know how to choose 'em, huh? Weren't you with him for a long while though? How'd you not see it? I mean, Ev had one conversation with James and she deemed him a moron. And we know that's true."

"I don't know. He was great. I mean he would never drink, he hardly smoked. He was a swimmer so he needed to be physically fit. I don't know. One night we had a little argument and got drunk. Ended up raping this chick, who apparently, 'looked alot like me' " She rolled her eyes, "Guys can be jerks. But I still have hope. Everyone is made for someone right?"

Luke smiled down at his plate as the waitress arrived. He sighed, running a hand through his hair quickly, and then gave Tiffany a glance askance. "Yeah...you don't always end up finding your soul mate though...I used to pity James. But now I'm suddenly envying him...even if his is a long-distance thing, at least he has someone..." He poked at his fillet.

"That's true I guess," Tiffany replied, placing her hair behind her ears as she lifted the spoon to her mouth, "But I've been dating bad guys to worse guys. I don't know if my luck will ever change."

She took a bite of the steak she had ordered and chewed alittle before it melted in her mouth and down her dry throat.

"I heard you were dating Ashley. How'd that work out, I wasn't there to mess it up this time." She joked.

Luke coughed softly and glanced away. "Um...we, er....kinda broke it off...I was touring, she was in Willchester...it wouldn't have worked out. I know JEv are trying it, but...I don't see how it will work for them either. It just makes people miserable, if you ask me," he replied eventually.

Tiffany nodded. She somewhat agreed. Long-distance never really worked.

"You're kinda right. I still hope they make it work though. So you broke it off because you were moving? You still like her though right?" Tiffany asked.

Luke glanced down at his plate, and then took a long drink. He swallowed and glanced at Tiffany. "I guess I do...but I obviously have no idea what I feel or I wouldn't have broken it off...she deserves better..."

Richard leaned over to Daniel. "Seems like they hit it off already."

"But they're both discussing about how bad their old relationships were. She doesn't have much faith in relationships and neither does he" Daniel replied with concern.

Tiffany smiled at Luke, "You don't give yourself enough credit. You're a great guy. Any girl would be lucky to have you"

Luke grimaced. "You know, back in highschool, I might have believed you. But now...James is suddenly the nice guy and I'm the jerk who can't commit." He sighed. "But...I dunno...I guess I don't wanna tie myself down...plus, there's the whole distance thing. It doesn't do it for me, you know?"

Richard smiled at Daniel. "Exactly. They just need to realize how in sync they are."

Daniel nodded at Richard and went back to his plate. He then looked back at up and said, "Thanks Richard, I owe you one. I just hope things work out."

"Things really haven't really changed since High School if you think about it, you're still as cute as you used to be. And still a hopeless romantic" She poked his cheek, "I miss those days alot."

Luke grinned somewhat abashedly as Tiffany's finger touched his dimple. He shrugged, golden-brown eyes amused as he regarded her.

"Give me some credit. James was the hopeless romantic idiot. I was the, um...more level-headed understudy." He sighed. "I was thinking next time I'm in Willchester, preferably by Ev's birthday, I'll go visit our highschools."
