Mark's Pizza

"Cause its awesome, duh." Jake said, hitting Ashton with his balloon.

"Don't worry about it, I'll pay for you." Lola offered to Evelyn.

The hostess came to the stand, "How many?" She asked them.

"Six." Antonio told the hostess, she grabbed six menus and looked for a table as she saw one she walked them over to their table. She took them to a table near the window.

Jacob slid in first, followed by Ashton then Seth.

Antonio let the girls go in first before taking his seat and grabbing his menu.

Evelyn, who had slid in to the very end, sitting opposite Jake, drummed her fingers on the table, glancing out the window beside their booth absently after thanking Lola. "Remind me to pay you back, though," she added then, looking up to see Seth squabbling over the menu with Ashton next to him.

"We're getting separates," Seth informed them, looking annoyed.

After the pizza was ordered, the girls going halves, Seth turned to Antonio and said, "Tigga, when will you guys be back in the City? We need to hang before school starts up again!" Evelyn leaned her head against the window, closing her eyes.

Antonio shrugged. "I dunno, but we won't be gone the whole summer right Ash?" Antonio never really paid attention to dates.

"Don't worry about it." Lola reassured Evelyn, as she turned her attention to the boys again.

Jacob however was looking at Evelyn, he flicked his spider balloon toward her, watching as it floated slowly and hit her lightly on the nose.

Evelyn's nose twitched as the balloon nudged it. Her eyes flickered open
slightly, and then fluttered shut, opening again a moment later somewhat sleepily.

A large, spiky thing was floating in front of her face. Evelyn blinked again, and then her eyes shifted past the balloon to Jake's face. She flashed him a small smile.

"Yeah, we should be back here by the start of august, we still need to figure out where to live."

"I'm debating," Seth commented. "Maybe just get a house with a bunch of people. Not necessarily all dudes." He winked. "I wouldn't mind hot roommates." He nudged Ashton, who coughed and simply shrugged. Dissatisfied with this lackluster answer, Seth nudged Jake.

Jacob shot Evelyn a smile, and managed to tear his eyes away when Seth nudged him. "Huh, what are we talking about?"

"Our living situation." Antonio informed Jake.

"Oh right." Jake nodded looking at the guys. "We're living together right?"

"Um..." Ashton hesitated, "I don't know..."

Evelyn stifled a grin. Poor Ashton. She didn't blame him. She straightened up as their waiter brought over their pizzas. He looked really familiar...

"I was talking about how sweet it'd be to live with a bunch of hot chicks," Seth informed Jake. "You weren't listening?"

"Mmm pizza." Jake said as the waiter set down their pizza's he took a slice off his plate and shook his head at Seth. "No I guess I wasn't." He said drowning his pizza in pepper flakes and taking a bite.

"No, you were too busy exchanging sappy smiles," Seth commented bluntly and Evelyn's cheeks reddened. She hastily began cutting into her pizza half. Ashton stifled a grin.

"But I was saying, instead of having just a bunch of guys, we can go co-ed. You know, it might help us stay a little um...organized?" Seth went on, eying Antonio pointedly. "Plus," he nudged Jake again, winking, "Hot roommates are no hassle either."

"That sounds like a good idea." Jake said mouthful of pizza.

"Oh and I'm the slob?" Antonio scoffed.

Ashton and Seth both shot Antonio meaningful looks in response. Evelyn couldn't help a laugh.

"Tigga, I'm afraid to let Lucifer in your room because your garbage might eat him," Seht informed the Italian.

"Well then." Antonio said continuing to eat his pizza.

Jacob took a swig of water to help swallow down half the pizza. "Ummm, wait so you guys wanna live with a bunch of other girls and guys? Not that I care but you know." Jacob didn't mind sharing a place with his friends, they knew him and his bi polar tendencies. Last thing he needed was beating up some random kid whenever he was having a bad day.

Evelyn paused with her slice halfway to her mouth and shot Jake a slight smile. Seth grinned.

"Well, I meant, we'd get people we know....maybe they wouldn't be all best buds but hey, you can pick people you want to live with," he said.

"I mean how many people can we put into a house?" Jake asked, wondering just how big were these places anyway.

"Six to ten," Evelyn said, remembering when she'd gone looking at places in Greenwich. "Some of those houses have three storeys and a basement level, so that's a lot of rooms."

"Hey...that would be fun. Lassie!" Seth exclaimed. "For the minimum expense of cooking and cleaning, you and Red should totally room with us."

Evelyn's eyes narrowed and her fork slipped out of her fingers in anger. "Excuse me?"

"No way am I moving in to cook for you pigs." Lola said narrowing her eyes at Seth.

Jacob coughed to cover up a laugh. "Yeah right Seth, pick the two girls least likely to come in and do any of that stuff for us."

"You'd be able to ensure Jake stayed on the lawful path," Seth wheedled, widening his eyes at the girls. "Imagine, Lola! He'll graduate with a spotless record."

Evelyn shot Jake an amused look. Although honestly, she wasn't even going to consider the horror of living under one roof with him. That would just be painful for both of them.

Lola rolled her eyes. "Oh please even Jake's own mother couldn't keep him out of jail!"

"She makes an excellent point." Jake chimed in. Not that he cared too much living with Lola, it would be no big deal. But living with Evelyn would just be downright hard and painful.

"Look who's talking," Seth scoffed at Jake. Ashton joined in.

"I don't think Jake would mind, would ya, Jake?" he asked cheekily. "And if he misbehaves, I'm sure Evelyn would have no trouble handcuffing him to the table to keep him in line."

Seht choked on a slice of pizza, coughing on his laughter. Evelyn rolled her eyes, shaking her head. She had no idea what Ashton was on about.

Antonio groaned. "Must we christen every place we live in with S&M?"

"Excuse me?!" Evelyn exclaimed, baffled. "S&M...?!"

Seth nudged Jake, grinning from ear to ear. "Yeah, enlighten her, Jakey. She's playing innocent."

Jake's jaw dropped, unable to speak. "I uh-- god we can't have one conversation without this topic being brought up! You guys are so annoying." Jake said all flustered.

"Now look what you've done, you've upset the chicken." Lola snickered at Jake.

"Somebody explain" Evelyn asked dubiously, although she didn't like the grins on the boys' faces.

"We wouldn't bring it up all the time if you didn't make us," Seht said to Jake. "But nope, the second I look away from you and Lola quits talking to Red, you're both back to giving each other googly eyes."

Evelyn's eyes widened in disbelief. "I - what? No!" Her face flooded with colour.

"Seth has a valid point," Ashton agreed reasonably. "But hey, we can give her the rundown of the Talk if Jake doesn't want to."

"No, no! No talks!" Jake said glaring at Seth and Ashton.

"I want to know," Evleyn said to Jake, a frown on her forehead. She was somewhat morbidly curious. "I think I'm missing the joke here and since it involves me, I'd like to know."

"Oh, it definitely involves you...very physically so," Seth assured her. Evelyn threw Jake a hesitant glance.

"It's like this," Ashton began before Jake could interrupt. "You know sometimes you get those urges to just punch someone's face in and it's relative to the amount of attraction you feel."

"What?" Evleyn asked blankly.

"You see," Ashton went on, "when two people like each other very much..."

Evelyn stared at him. "Wait, what?!" Her green eyes looked horrified and Seth struggled not to laugh.

"Shut up!" Jake said, lowering himself down in his seat, covering his ears.
