Freshmen Dorms

Jake would have loved to turn the shower head off, but Evelyn had the stupid shower head spraying them everywhere, "I ..." He coughed, "Can't see! To..." He took a deep breath and swallowed the water and coughed some more. "TURN IT OFF!" Jake admitted to himself that if he wasn't drowning in an inch of water right now he'd be laughing his ass off.

Evelyn realized the dilemma and wondered how to stop it going crazy on them. She turned it and held it away from her - so it splattered Jake again. "Oh God dammit." She was still on Jake's lap so she simply reached out and grabbed the front of his wifebeater - and shoved the gushing showerhead down his front.

It stopped splashing their faces at least. Evelyn reached over and turned off the shower.

Seth stopped in front of his dorm building and called Connor up, grinning cheekily. "Yo, you busy? I don't care because no respectable person would be working on Saturday. Get your ass out front. I'm bored."

"Yeah yeah, man, I'm in the elevator!" Connor smirked. "You know how slow this fucker is." He said, kicking the side and cringed when it dented a little. "...Oops. Does this thing have camera's in it?" He asked, looking around.

Seth heard a loud thunk that suggested collateral damage and laughed. "I hope not. I mean...I'm not against sex tapes but I don't want one of me going around...if you get what I mean."

He kind of liked the elevator's slowness at times. With reason.

Jacob pulled the shower head out of his wife beater as soon as it stopped flying around everywhere like a crazy python, normally this would have made him mad, but all he could see was Evelyn looking pissed as hell, her hair was all clinging to her, and water was running down her face like a leaky faucet and Jake just started laughing uncontrollably.

"I can't... I can't..." He said in between fits of laughter looking up at Evelyn since she was positioned on his lap, "You're just... and your hair. ha ha ha ha!" Jacob couldn't even remember the last time he laughed this hard.

"Porn for security guards, dude." Connor chirped with a grin and looked as the doors finally opened when on their floor and headed out, making his way for the doors.

Seth was leaning against the side of the building and flashed the security guard a grin. Just then, Connor appeared at the doors and Seth lifted a hand to wave him over.

He hung up his phone, saying aloud, "I somehow think they appreciate it. I doubt their sex lives are very exciting standing out here."

The security guy threw him a strange look.

Evelyn glared hatefully at Jake but then realized she probably did look kind of like a Grudge reincarnation. She lifted her hands and pushed her wet hair out of her face, sincerely glad she wasn't wearing any make-up that day. She blinked water out of her eyes - and then finally cracked a grin at last.

"Have you seen yourself?" she asked, snickering at Jake's drowned-beaver look. "You look like an albino rodent."

"I doubt it! I mean.. they can't even jerk off.." Connor grinned, going over, and patted his shoulder. "Sorry I didn't come up with somethin' better, figured you could take it from there."

Jacob's laughter subsided a bit, and he snorted at Evelyn's comment about his "albino rodent." He wiped the remaining water from his face and tried to get his hair from clinging to his forehead, "Hey, I'm a tan rodent, you look like the albino rodent. " He chuckled.

Seth glanced over at the security guard behind Connor, straightening. The guy was shooting Connor a queer look and shaking his head.

Seth grinned. "No prob, bro. I just needed to get out of there. If I wasn't gonna get some, why would I hang around some chick?"

They began heading toward the street. Seth tucked his hands in his pockets. "Oh, speaking of, you shoulda been there last night. They had a bubble party up on the seventh floor. It was kind of lame though. Definitely needed some spice."

Evelyn was wringing the water out of her hair. At Jake's comment, she tugged her hair forward over her shoulder and squeezed it dry on his chest. "Oh?" Not that it mattered. His shirt had already absorbed so much water when she'd shoved the shower-head under it that it probably weighed twenty pounds. "Have fun walking in this thing." She smirked.

"Those things are always lame dude." Connor shrugged. "I heard about it, but that's why I didn't go." Connor explained, putting his hands in his pockets as he walked beside Seth. "Did that once, hated it, and the rest is obvious from there."

Jake shook himself like a dog would and looked up at Evelyn, "I don't plan on going anywhere, I'm thinking if Seth left his door open to his room again I'd go in there and soak up his bed." He grinned, "Besides it was really stuffy in here earlier so I actually feel a lot more refreshed now." As the water cooled him off a bit but he knew he'd probably be freezing soon enough.

"It got better later. We played Never Have I ever and considering everyone was mostly drunk already, some nasty shit came up. James blew up at Red adn Jake and I set the bubble machine to explode all over. That part was good," Seth informed Connor.

He paused and grabbed Connor's arm, blue eyes lighting up. "Hey, hey, let's give Lex a call. She needs to be cheered up some since the Brett thing and all."

"I'm sure you'll feel great once you catch - " Evelyn suddenly realized exactly where she was sitting and stopped talking instantly, hastily tumbling sideways and almost hitting her head on the faucet as she scrambled off Jake to sit on the other end of the tub, face reddening. "-pneumonia," she finished, mortified. The tub was getting cramped.

"Dude, you HONESTLY think she'd ever willingly come along with us?" Connor pointed out, looking at Seth. "She'd say "screw you" and hang up at the mention of meeting up with us."

Seth pulled an offended face. "No girl resists this," he said, pointing at himself. Then again, Alexis wasn't most girls. "Man, your cousin's a bitch. She needs to loosen up some, you know?" he complained, pulling out his phone and scrolling to Alexis' number. He paused. "Wait, you call her! Tell her to come down here 'cause you need to uh...give her something? We'll encourage her to go with us!"

Seth grinned devilishly.

"Dude." Connor made a face. "She hates me just as much as she hates you." Connor crossed his arms. "YOU call her."

Jake stifled a grin, as Evelyn seemed to have gotten embarrassed from sitting in his lap. Not that he minded its not like she weighed five hundered pounds. It was kind of ... cute, most girls he did ever know sat on his lap like it was no big deal, but of course most of those girls were hoes.

Then it hit him, did he just call Evelyn cute? No Evelyn wasn't cute, okay yeah she was but not ... He pushed those thoughts out of his head and tried to think of something else, "You know I think pneumonia is probably the one thing I've never gotten."

"Don't be a little bitch," Seth said eloquently. "Just call her. She can't hate blood."

Evelyn was still feeling horribly humiliated. But Jake didn't seem like he'd noticed anything odd about what she'd just been doing. Then again, type of guy he was, he probably had girls sitting on his lap on a daily basis. She cringed, disgusted. Hell if she was letting her temper get away with her like that.

She shivered. It was fall now, and getting cold quickly. "Well, given your luck, we'll both be dead by the time they come back." She'd just gotten over a fever last weekend. Lovely. She wrapped her arms around her knees, feeling goosebumps rise up her bare arms. The bathtub was cold too. Even better.

Jake noticed Evelyn trying to bundle up to try and stay warm, then again why she was wearing shorts was beyond him. Females, never really dressing appropriately for the weather, then again he was in the bath tub with a wife beater, he had been wearing his rugby sweater though, which he had taken off and it had been laying on the floor.

To his surprise it had survived their naval battle, he got up and grabbed it and sat back in the tub handing it to Evelyn, "Hear last thing I wanna hear is you bitch about how you get pneumonia in here, and then haunt me after your premature death."

"Dude, this is ALEXIS we're talking about." Connor grumbled and pulled his phone out before calling Alexis, switching from foot to foot, a little impatient as he listened to it ring before she finally picked up. "Yo! Alexis."He grinned before smirking as she gave him her usual, "What the hell do you want?"

"Look, I wanted to return you that cash I owned you for that meal when I was buzzin'. Where you at?" He asked, looking at Seth and gave him a cheeky grin as she told him where. "Yeah, I know the place. Be there soon."

Evelyn raised an eyebrow. Normally, she could have taken it because she was really cold.

But Jake was being a prick even while being nice. Kid needed some attitude adjustment.

Evelyn lifted her chin from where she had rested it on her arms over her knees. Her eyes narrowed up at him. "No, thanks. Clearly, it'd just be a horrid inconvenience to you to give it to me."

Seth snickered. "Where to?" he asked quietly, so she wouldn't hear him.

Connor hung up and shoved his phone back in his pocket. "Get this- they are at fuckin' 7 Eleven, dude."

Jake narrowed his eyes at her, and sighed. He had to be nice didn't he? He didn't want to be nice, she was going to get sick and find some ungodly reason to blame him. He wanted this to end, so he swallowed his "horrid attitude" momentarily, "Sorry just don't want you getting sick, so just take it. I can part with it I have like three." Jake held it out as some sort of peace offering, and was really hoping she wouldn't get crabby and just take it.

Seth was momentarily stunned into silence and then his lisp quivered with laughter. He fought it down. "I see...."

He coughed to calm himself down. His smirk widened. "Let's go then! Can't keep them waiting. Then again...I don't think we'll be let in there."

He paused and added, blue eyes dancing, "Which makes it all the more fun."

Evelyn smiled to herself but contained her smugness. She reached out and took his sweater without complaint, chirping, "Was that so hard?" She tugged it over her head, relief flooding through her. She reached up adn tugged her hair free over the collar.
