Week of Sept 6, 2010

"... Something tells me you were about to make a very dirty joke. I grew up with three brothers and only ONE little sister, so ah.. no covering that stuff up around me." Rose teased, messing with her pencil.

"Yeah you got me, but now I'm trying to make something exciting happen to this stick person here, so far he's walking and here is a crappy dinosaur." James said sliding his notebook between him and the girl pointing out the stick figure that he decided to name mentally Lucas, and the evil dinosaur Eve.

"Well the stick man could always pull out a laser gun and shoot the dinosaur." Rose said, looking back up at James with a amused grin.

James examined his photo, looks like stick figure Luke wasn't standing a chance, so he turned his notebook to a clean page, and drew the grid, "Tic tac toe?" He asked her.

"I call X's." Rose stated as she pushed her notebook out of her arm's way for the moment.

James pouted, "Great I have to be circles? Its my notebook, I should get to be X's." James told the chick sitting next to him, it was true it was his paper.

"...Touche. Fine, I'm X's next if we play again." Rose nodded, and poked his nose with the eraser end of her pencil. "I'm Rosemary, by the way. Rose for short though, please."

James crinkled his nose at the touch of her eraser, and he looked up at her, "I'm James, short for nothing, but I'm pretty damn tall." He said taking his pen and drawing an X in the center of the grid.

"Your move Rose bud." He smirked, giving her a nickname.

Rose smirked at the nickname and reached over, making a circle under his X in the middle bottom grid.

After losing a few games of Tic Tac Toe, to his cute new friend Rose, James hadn't realized that class was over. It was weird because this was probably the second or third time he had actually attended class.

James said bye to Rose, and he actually felt a little bit better after playing with her, but he knew he was in no state to do anything besides probably rebound, and this girl didn't look like she wanted to kill him.

James walked out of class, and onto campus, as he did though, he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket, he opened it and saw that there were two notifications from his Facebook. He figured it was Lucas, because they had been chatting earlier, he opened them and saw.

James opened them and his blue eyes nearly bugged out of his head, he almost stopped breathing when he saw the two photos of him and... Evelyn. He couldn't believe that....
