Upper East Side

"...It's hair dude." Connor said, muffled with a mouth full as he looked at Seth with raised eyebrows.

Seth frowned over at him. "No, it's my hair," he pointed out, like this meant something.

"It's a fluff of silver HAIR, Seth." Connor blinked at him, not getting what was so grand about it.

Seth threw up his hands. Jake didn't fully get it, but at least he knew better than to say something so derogatory like "fluff".

His hair wasn't fluffy from all those chemicals, was it? he dropped his fork and headed to the fridge, checking his reflection in its shiny surface. His hair looked...a bit poofed.

"Fuck!" He ran his hands through it agitatedly, expression falling. "Oh man! My hair!" He groaned and resisted the urge to stomp his foot. "It was probably all that running around. Dammit, now I have to go spray it down again."

Connor eyed him and then put his plate down after swallowing his mouth full. He kept quiet as he went over to Seth, put his hands on his shoulders and looked him straight in the eye. "You are man. You are straight. ACT LIKE IT."

Seth gulped visibly as he tried to calm his panic. He had always been a tad bit obsessive over his hair. "Okay, okay," he exhaled heavily, shoulders slumping before he met Connor's eyes again. "Yeah, you're...you're right. I just...damn it, I spent so much effort on this!"

"SETH. You are MAN! You make FIRE! You fuck WOMEN!" Connor said, shaking him a little. "Stop acting like a WOMAN!"

Seth flinched and wiped spittle from his face with one hand as he mumbled meekly, "I'm not allowed near the matches. I burnt down my aunt's three-storey house four years ago."

"...Ugh." Connor let his head hang, and shook it weakly. "I give up. Go be some skippy-flamer who obsesses over his 1k. silver hair."

Seth grinned and shrugged free, loping back over to the island where he popped a cherry off the fruit bowl into his mouth. "Oh yeah?" he challenged. He picked up a grape and bit out one end before putting it between his teeth and expertly squeezing the juice in a straight line at Connor's eye. "How's that for manly?"

Connor yelped as it stung his eye and reached up, wiping at it quickly. "What the fu- that's not manly at all!"

Seth swallowed the juice-less grape. "Oh?" His blond head tilted as he mused over this. "No, I suppose that's kinda childish." He swallowed another grape and then said, "But hey, I'd rather be childish than with child." He smirked at Connor tauntingly.

"...Oh that's it, you're dead." Connor said before grabbing a hand full of a near by plate of some other italian dish that would probably stain Seth's clothes and chucked it at him.

Seth yelped as pasta sailed at him through the air. He jerked to one side and it splattered his elbow as it flew past, landing on the floor-to-ceiling window behind him.

Seth eyes darkened to navy as he glared at Connor across the island. "This means war, bitch." He snagged a branch of grapes and began using them as mini grenades, popping off the top and throwing them so their juice squirted as they hit.

Connor flinched as one hit his forehead and then another his cheek before he grabbed another handful of the pasta and threw it at Seth, before glancing around and spotted a glass of grape juice and grabbed it up, splashing him with it.

Seth gagged. He loathed grape juice. He choked and grabbed a handful of pasta, rushing forward and smushing it in Connor's face. He danced back, gleeful. "HA!"

His foot caught a stool and he tripped backwards, landing on his elbows with a loud crash as the metal stool toppled beside him.

Connor cringed and reached up, trying to wipe away all the pasta he could. He glared down at Seth with a grin as he grabbed a bowl of just sauce and stepped over to him, dumping it all over his head.

"FUCK!" Seth announced to the world and his god damned luck. He coughed and spat out sauce so it hit the fridge nearby, wiping it out of his eyes and ears. Then he just lay there, exhausted, and glowered up at Connor. "I hate your guts. Fuck you, man, my hair's ruined."

Connor busted out laughing, wiping away more pasta from his face. "D-dude you look like some kinda food cl-clown!"He choked out while laughing.

Seth glared. And then attempted to get up - and slipped facedown onto the slippery floor. "Shith!" He sat up, feeling blood in his mouth. "I think I bith my thongue!"

Connor doubled over, laughing even more as he gripped onto his stomach.

Seth flipped him the bird as he crawled to a cleaner spot. He got up, holding onto the island, and leaving tracks halfway over the shiny white tiled floor.

He stood up, glowering. "Yeah, that was hilarious."

"In what sense of the word?" Zeke's voice asked flatly from the doorway.

Ah fuck, Seth thought, eyes widening as he met Zeke's impassive stare. The other boy's blue eyes were glittering, either in anger or amusement, Seth couldn't tell.

"Um..." He smiled cheekily. "Happy Thanksgiving?"

A drop of pasta sauce dribbled to the floor off his arm.

Connor wheezed as he got back to standing straight and wiped the food from him, the best he could. "Uh. Hi."He grinned.

Zeke held out the bag to him and said simply, "Out."

Seth nodded and filed past Zeke, grimacing. As they left, Zeke added, "And I'll be calling in that favor, Seth." His smile, Seth saw, was honest-to-God hellion.

Seth swallowed. "S-sure?" He punched the button for the lift.

Zeke grinned wider. "I wouldn't be so giving. I fyou only knew what it was..."

He slammed the front door. Seth paled and then entered the lift with Connor.

"....You've got some pasta in your ear." Connor said after a moment, his voice crackling with wanted laughter. "I think Elevator v-voice might find it attractive."
