Flirting with Ice [Evelyn]

Alexis headed into the building with Evelyn, grinning some at the smells that drafted through the air as they stepped in, much different then New York street smells, i.e cigarette smoke, and so forth. She turned a bit to look at Evelyn. "I love it here."

Evelyn nodded, inhaling the bakery smells wafting from over the counter. She and Alexis got into line and finally reached the counter.

"Medium Iced Cap?" Evelyn said hesitantly. She hadn't been to a Timmy's too often. "Um...and a strawberry shortcake cookie?"

She turned to Alexis. "My treat for your victorious night. What do you want?"

((There's one in town but I've never been there.))

Alexis looked over the menu thingy. "Mm, french latte and snicker-doodle?"She asked, looking back at her roomie as she adjusted her bag a bit.

Trevor looked up from his phone as he entered the shop, hearing Evelyn's voice and grinned to himself as he went over and got in line. "Nice to see you again, Evelyn."

Evelyn nearly dropped her Iced Cap. She swung around, almost elbowing Alexis. "Oh, hey! Wow, this is random." She handed her credit card to the cashier. "Hang on a second, Trevor

She took her card back and then tuned back to him when the cashier handed her a receipt."What on earth are you doing here? Don't you have Broadway to hit?"

Alexis quickly stepped away, scared that she'd get beat up like poor Luke did doing the incident at the gym. She grabbed her latte and the cookie once the person behind the counter handed it to her. She eyed Frogger a bit as she took a sip of her drink.

Trevor grinned at the Broadway comment. "Actually- I just came back from there."He said, looking at her. "Have you gone to see it yet?"

Evelyn gaped at him, envious. "No! I want to so badly. Not just because it's glamorous, but i haven't seen a real play since eight grade, and that was just Othello." She led the way to a table for four and sat down.

Alexis mentally groaned as she followed Evelyn and Trevor, sitting by Evelyn before Trevor could even attempt. She set her things down after taking a bite from her cookie and grabbed her iPhone, going onto facebook.

Trevor sat on the opposite side of them, keeping it to himself the twinge of annoyance it sent through him that Alexis was getting in his way as he smiled at Evelyn. "I went and saw Wicked."

Evelyn blinked. "That's the one about the witch from the Wizard of Oz?" she asked, uncertain. She'd seen people attempt it at a highschool shed' attended. And fail.

"Oh, I want to see that," Evelyn breathed. She sighed and sipped at her Iced Cap. "What do you plan to do now?" She glanced at ALexis beside her, wondering why she was so silent.

"Hang out around here or something- gets lonely at my apartment, since I've got it to myself so I try and be around crowds."Trevor admitted before taking a sip of his coffee.

Alexis rolled her eyes, hearing Trevor oh-hum story about living by himself and getting lonely. He was probably lonely because he came onto strong and had that 'I'm going to sneak into your house in the middle of the night' kind of attitude.

Evelyn caught Alexis' eye roll and nudged her with her elbow discretely. She raised an eyebrow at her roommate curiously.

She glanced back at Trevor. "Well, we were sort of planning a girly night out, to be honest."

"Wha- ow."Alexis grumbled, elbowing her back slightly before looking back at her phone, grumbling slightly that Seth was the only one online at the moment, and she certainly didn't wanna talk with him, rather he apologized or not.

"Ah- fun, I guess?"Trevor smirked teasingly as he set his cup down in front of him. "Where are you two going for your girls night?"

Evelyn pulled a face. "Shopping?" she replied. She grinned briefly. "I'd ask you to tag along but I don't want to insult your masculinity or anything."

She glanced at Alexis again. Why was Alexis being so....weird?

"Ah- but you see, some men love to go shopping with women so they can have a proper chance to compliment them."Trevor smiled, clasping his hands together in front of him on the table.

Evelyn blinked, amused despite herself. Maybe Trevor was subtly admitting he was gay?

She shrugged to show it didn't matter. But this was Alexis' small victory. "Well, I'd love to invite you Trevor, but we have a little personal victory to celebrate first," Evelyn compromised. "Next time though. You can help us pick out stuff."

"Ahh-hah, No no, no picking out anything for me unless you'd like to look like someone from the Cirque Du Soleil."Trevor laughed, rubbing at the back of his neck.

Evelyn blinked, green eyes troubled. "Okay?" She decided maybe he was gay but not into clothing? That happened.

"Well...it'd be a boring trip for you then," she said.

Trevor furrowed his brows and nodded slightly. Damnit, yet another chance missed. "Well.. you ladies have fun."

Evelyn was disappointed their theater conversation had been cut short but she smiled briefly anyways. It wasn't a real smile, but honest enough. "We'll see you around sometime, I guess."

She got to her feet, nudging Alexis.

Alexis got up, grabbing her drink and slipping her phone back in her pocket. She just nodded half heartedly at Trevor before heading for the door.

Trevor smirked briefly so Evelyn wouldn't see before looking up at her. "Have a good time tonight, Evelyn."He said before smiling.

"Thanks." Evelyn waved over her shoulder and then led Alexis out.

Once on the sidewalk, she grabbed Alexis' sleeve and yanked her to a stop. "Okay, what's going on? You did this on the subway too."

Alexis stopped in her steps from Evelyn's jerking back. She looked at her and let out a breath. "I don't like him. He gives off a creepy vibe."

Evellyn blinked. She honestly hadn't given Trevor much thought, not enough to watch out for vibes. "Are you sure? I mean, I know you're paranoid because of Brett. HE was dangerous."

"I am not "paranoid", Evelyn."Alexis frowned at her. "You haven't seen him smirk sneakily when you're not looking or glare at me when you'd look away because I didn't let him sit next to you?"Alexis asked, looking to the side as she heard the noise from rushing by cars.

Evelyn stared at her. "You're kidding right?" she asked hopefully. Her stomach twisted uncomfortably. "Maybe it's because he isn't gay?"

"...You're not gonna believe me?"Alexis asked after a moment, looking back at her friend.
