7-Eleven Store

Seth halted, disbelief breaking out over his face. What the hell was with this idiot?

He swung around, annoyed. He'd already put up with a hysterical girl and Lola and more drama with Jake than he'd ever seen and now this dumb schlick was getting on his bad side when he was out to buy his demonic cat a meal so it wouldn't break into said hysterical girl's suite again?

"Fuck this," Seth muttered, dropping his basket. He swung around, grabbed a tin of Pringles off a shelf beside him, ripped the lid off, tore out the seal and hurtled the whole thing at the stupid kid, so Pringles shot out like missiles toward the boy, covering his head and smashing into his nose right before the Pringles tin hit him.

Connor flinched as it hit his head adn then just stood there, smirking slowly. That's how he wanted to play? Fine then.

Connor nonchalantly took a can of Spray-Cheese, took off the top, and swiftly turned, stepped closer to Seth and sprayed the cheese all over him.

Seth ducked, but it went all over his shirt and the stand of gum packs behind him. He He snatched some bottle of soda, twisted off the tap and jostled it toward the boy, sloshing his clothes. Pepsi spread all over the floor around them. Seth vaguely heard yells from what he figured was the manager and cashiers behind him, but he paid them no heed, grabbing a bag of gum balls and using them as ammo as he lobbed them at the boy.

Connor cringed as the soda hit him and the gum balls before grabbing a box of chocolate Malt balls and throwing them at Seth.

Seth opened his mouth, catching one on his tongue and swallowed it, smirking. "Thanks, man," he called mockingly, before flinging marshmallow missiles at his opponent.

Connor blocked them from his face with a box of Cheez-It's. He had to laugh, which he was, at the whole situation. Food fight at 7-Eleven.

Seth cringed. Wasted ammo right there. He glanced around and realized there was nothing throw-able around him. He spun and darted down the aisle, away from Connor, headed for the next rack of junk food.

Connor quickly opened the box and ripped open the packet before dashing after Seth and catching up to his easily, dumping the whole thing into the back of Seth's pants before dashing off down a few aisles.

Seth almost tripped but managed to to aim his weapon - a squeezy juice bottle that he'd dumped Mentos into to mix with the juice for a painful attack - at the other boy's back adn squeezed.

The juice and Mentos hit the boy's butt, ricocheting off him and onto the floor. Seth collapsed onto the ground and then rolled to his feet when he felt food in his pants.

Ah, shit.

Connor cringed and turned, resting his hands on his knees as he looked at Seth, catching his breath from running around like an idiot and started laughing. "What the hell are we seriously doing?"

"I'll tell you," Seth said, dusting himself off. It didn't help. "We're getting arrested if we stay here." He shot a glance to his left. Store security lumbered down the aisle. There were cashiers behind Connor and ...one woman with a cart behind Seth himself.

He made a quick decision. He grabbed his squeeze-bottle, spun on his heels and ran at the woman, waving the bottle over his head like a lunatic.

"Aaaaaah!" he yelled in warning and she screamed in response and ducked sideways. Seth breezed past her and down the aisle, darting over abandoned shopping carts and around overturned weaponry from his and the other kid, whoever he was's fight.

He leaped up onto the conveyor belt of the nearest checkout line, took a handful of Mentos he had in his pocket and hurtled them at the approaching security guards from his higher stand point. He backed away slowly toward the exit.

Connor backed away from the cashiers and faked left before going right and made a dash through an aisle, jumping over an abandoned cart, skidding to a stop as he rounded the corner of the aisle, before running down towards where he knew the exit and almost rammed into the other guy he was food fighting with, once there before forcing his legs to stop.

Seth darted around the other boy as he got off the conveyor belt. He shoved open the exit doors and broke out into a run down 35th street.

Connor slipped out before the doors slammed shut and took off the opposite way, as he had learned a slight short cut.

Seth, having been chsed down NY streets often, took the steps down to the subway, leaping the turnstile and catching hte first train whose doors he saw. He ignored the looks he was getting from people for his foul-smelling clothes and mussed up hair and face, getting off a few stops down, and took another opposite-direction subway back to campus, disgruntled that he'd basically wasted his whole evening in a food-fight. Now, Lucifer would steal from neighbours again and French Red and Issues - Alexis, he corrected himself, would kill him.

Seth glanced around as they entered the store. He didn't really think they'd be in any trouble. That shit was last week.

He sent Connor a grin. "Behave, guy. This time."

"You started it." Connor half-heartedly smirked and glanced around for the right aisle before heading on over.

Seth punched his shoulder as he passed him and picked up a random box, completely clueless. He tried to figure out if it was the color-coded one or the one with the signs. "Color-coded here."

He threw it back on its shelf and picked up another. "Let's find um...ten color-coded ones."

"Uh. Okay." Connor frowned slightly and started to look for the boxes.

They finally achieved half their goal, finding only five in the small collection offered at the store. Seth sighed as they headed up to the front. He ran a hand through his hair. "Dude? I'm not having this show up on my credit card." They got in line behind an older lady.

"I've got cash." Connor said, reaching with his free hand for his wallet in his back pocket. "How much do you think the total will be?"

Seth shrugged. "No frickin' idea. I don't do this a lot." He smirked. "Unlike some people."

As they moved up to the front of the line, the old lady ahead of them turned around as Seth emptied the shopping basket they were carrying onto the checkout tray.

He lifted his blue eyes and caught her gaze. She eyed the objects on the checkout and then glanced at Connor behind Seth as the cashier checked them in. Seth watched some realization light in her crinkled eyes and stifled a smirk.

Please tell me she isn't...

The old lady crossed herself. Her eyes widened as she glanced between the boys again.

Oh, she is, he concluded.

Seth could've sworn she muttered, "Blasphemous heathens" as she tottered away.

He turned to face Connor, shoulders shaking with repressed mirth. He could feel his eyes stinging as he tried to hold back the crazy laughter building inside him. "Hey dahling. Here's hoping." He winked suggestively at his friend and reached over and flicked Connor's dark bangs off his forehead, hand shaking as he tried to reign his mirth in.

Connor's eye widened as he stared at Seth, before glancing at the old lady. He blinked, and felt laughter try to burst out but held it back and bit his bottom lip hard as he threw an arm around Seth's shoulders and pulled him closer.

Seth had to feign a coughing fit because his laughter was escaping. He tried not to look the horror-struck woman in the eye as Connor paid. Seth grinned maniacally and leaned his head on the taller boy's shoulder, feeling like he was getting a stomach ache from laughing so hard.

Or...maybe not from laughing.

Seth shot Connor a meaningful smirk as he made a loud groaning sound, clutching his stomach - which really did hurt because he wanted to laugh so bad that he was positive he'd sprained a rib from restraining himself - and then doubled over. "Oh, God, it huuuurts."

The old lady dropped her shopping basket and eggs cracked distinctly. The cashier paled.

Connor shook a little as he held in laughter, his lungs feeling like they were going to burst. "I'm so sorry baby, I'll be more gentle next time, okay?"He said, his voice shaky a little but laced with fake care and concern as he put his hands on Seth's shoulders.
