Freshmen Dorms

Evelyn blinked and shook her head. "You said vodak, jerk." She snorted and stepped around Jake, amused. "I think you should go lie down. You're clearly out of it."

Jacob shrugged, and looked back at Evelyn, "Nah if anything I just need to eat, speaking of food... you know where you can get good food tonight?" He said nudging her, "Come with me tonight, and you won't have to deal with me ever again."

She stopped. The thought of never having to stick around this prick was enticing. But then there was Nova. She'd have to see Jake anyways. Evelyn frowned and asked curiously, "What do you mean?"

"Just come with me tonight to my parents, I'll promise I won't be annoying, I mean I can't cause I'll just get yelled at, eat some yummy homemade Spanish food and then you can go on with your life." Jake vowed to her.

She blinked and recalled him telling her this several nights ago. Evelyn paused to think aboout this for a moment.

What could go wrong? It was just to his parents' house. What if...?

"They might get the wrong idea," she protested. "I mean, what will you tell them afterwards?"

Jacob scratched his head, "I don't know I'll tell them you moved back to France or something."

Evelyn resisted the urge to slap him. This dinner might be the last straw. "Right. Fine, whatever. But I'm going out after that, just so you know." She walked away, and then turned to ask, "Wait, what time do I have to be ready by? And who're you leaving Nova with? Or are we taking him?"

"Be ready by six, and I think I'll bring him along my mom would love to have him walking around the place." Jake told her turning back to go to his dorm.

Evelyn made a face after him. Asshole. She turned around and went back to her room, passing the living room and returning to her dorm room, ensuring her door was locked. She pulled out her phone and called Ashlee, lounging onto her bed and undoing her ponytail; it was already mussed up.

Jacob slid his arms through the his black and red plaid shirt, that he wore over his black wife beater, he left it unbuttoned, with his sleeves rolled up. He made sure to wear long sleeves around his mother, (since his mother despised his tattoo). He wore a pair of ripped jeans and his black Pumas.

He slung his duffel bag over his shoulder and went to grab Nova who was sprawled out on the couch, "Come on boy." He picked him up and put him in his duffel bag, and he watched his head poke out from the tiny opening.

Jake walked out of the dorm, and down to Evelyn's he knocked on the door, "Oooh señorita your lover is here!" He smirked knocking on her door.

Evelyn got off the phone with her cousin and scrambled around, looking for her shoes. She sighed, suddenly recalling that Frosh party she and Alexis had been getting ready for together. That had been fun.

Now she couldn't find her shoes again, but this itme, there was no smartmouthed roommate to help her out. She bit the inside of her cheek and went to get the door barefoot, giving her outfit one last glance.

She was going to the jerk's parents house, so she'd settled on being demure. Her hair was down and left wavy. Long denim skirt and a scrunched-neck black top with long sleeves. And no shoes. Yet.

She snatched up her necklace in one hand and pulled open the suite door with the other. "Dammit, you're early."

Jake watched as she scrambled around the dorm, "Not my fault you females take forever to get ready, what are you looking for?" He asked setting his bag down and as Nova scrambled around in it.

Evelyn was crouched down and peeking under the couch. "Black pumps," she answered distractedly. She shot past Jake into her room, clasping on the jeweled necklace as she went. Then she turned and eyed him, tilting her head. "Are you really wearing plaid?"

Jake looked down at his shirt and raised an eyebrow at Evelyn, "Um yeah? Why, were you expecting I was going to show up in a tux?"

"You in a tux?" Evelyn scoffed and dug through her closet. She pulled out three different pairs of heels and sighed. "That would be a mockery of the tuxedo."

She finally settled for simple strappy sandals and sat down, slipping her feet into them. "But no, I was just wondering..." she trailed off with a grin.

"Wondering what?" He asked.
